  Installing WordPress on Localhost

1.     Prepare the latest WordPress files that can be downloaded directly on WordPress

2.     Open the XAMPP folder on your computer. Then open the htdocs folder. 

Copy the WordPress file into this folder. More easily, please open Windows

 Explorer, then type C: \ xampp \ htdocs in the address folder section as

 shown in the image below

3.     If the file is still compressed, please extract it first. The extracted

 default folder is called 'wordpress'. You can change the name of 

WordPress using another name, and in this guide we will exemplify it

 by changing it to the name 'tria-db'.

4.     Create a database at PhpMyAdmin

5.     Now open your browser to open this offline WordPress site, later we can 

access it with the address http: // localhost / folder. If your property 

still uses the default folder, the address will be http: // localhost / wordpress.

 In this example, we changed it to tria-web. Next, please type in the address 

bar of the website address in the host (http: // localhost / tria-web).

 Then select the language and click 'Continue'

6.     Click Let's Go.

7.     Fill in the database name, user name, and password that you have created before.

 If not, you can read it in the tutorial on how to create a database using XAMPP.

In the Database Host section, fill in localhost. Click Submit

8.     Click Run the Install.

9.     Fill in the data needed for admin and website name. After that

10.                  click install WordPress

11.  Congratulations! Your WordPress offline is ready. Please login.

12.   Enter the username and password that you created in step no.9

 to log in to the Dashboard.
